You are welcome to visit our club as many times as you wish as a guest but you will need to join in order to enjoy the full benefits of membership.
When You Join Us You’ll Get Access To:
- Online education resources. You will be able to choose from 11 pathways to develop your communication skills depending on your particular goals. From Humorous speaking to Leadership development. Sky is the limit!
- Interactive workshops. We regularly invite the best speakers to host fun and educational workshops: from using your voice with confidence, to breathing techniques, to secrets of the best jokes, to giving meaningful feedback. You are welcome to join them all for this extra boost of confidence and knowledge!
- Mentorship. Each new member of Bloomsbury Speakers gets a mentor – a more experienced club member who will be there to show the ropes, help prepare speeches and give support throughout your Toastmasters journey.
- Community. You’ll become part of a community who is passionate about learning and having fun together. We support each other during the meetings and outside the Club. Many of us have given best men speeches, TV interviews, work presentation – and Bloomsbury speakers family was always there to help prepare or simply give moral support.
- Feedback. Every role you take, every speech you make – you will always get feedback. Don’t be intimidated – our experienced (and award-winning!) evaluators will be there to motivate you, boost your confidence and identify your straights. Your skills and confidence will grow in no time!
Membership fees
Membership fees are just £96 for six months (plus a one-off fee of £20 for new members).
Fees are due on 31st March and 30th September, but new members pay a pro-rated amount (plus a one-off fee) when they join, as per the table below, until one of these dates is reached. They then renew at the standard fee from that point onwards.
New joiners, please check this table to find out the amount you need to pay for your membership this month in the Total column. It’s best to join at the beginning of the month to get the most value for money.
We are a non-profit club and your membership covers venue costs, the fees paid on your behalf to Toastmasters International, and other miscellaneous costs (e.g. hosting this website).
